Some may find this a terribly easy place to identify and other may kick themselves when they find out where it is.....

Sorry LB.......news travels slowly downhill to OZ...however I am now enlightened
that this had happened some 7 years ago........but still could be a 'Yugoslavic' flag on a rowing boat on a lonely pebbly beach somewhere else I suppose...........

"
Yugoslavia ceased to exist after Montenegro decided to split from Serbia and go its own way. The original Yugoslavian Republic consisted of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia. After the breakup of the USSR back in the early nineties a lot of eastern european countries took their cue and hastily departed the soviet era too. Yugoslavia quickly went into meltdown with most of its parts becoming independent countries, Until recently Serbia and Montenegro were the last remaining parts making up Yugoslavia. The final fallout was having Kosovo (formerly part of Serbia) also breaking away to form a new country

Correct, solid carved jelutong in the original... was to be or has been cast in bronze for longer life.... The capstan is original to the harbour.
