Hi,
I'm struggling to find a 1/24 model of a man/woman who I could sit at a control console of a bridge. I've searched eBay, model shops etc can't find anything suitable anywhere. Any ideas anyone?
Glyn.

Try googling "Tamiya1:24 figure" and you should get some useful results. You might have to buy abroad and/or perform a little plastic surgery but there do appear to be some options out there. Good luck.

Hi I think they are out there as some years ago I was given a part made sailing boat with an articulated figure on the tiller.
It had been connected to the tiller and moved according to RC of the rudder position.
No idea where it came from though.

Model railway figures could be modified, there is a good choice of seated figures

I looked for quite a while. Trouble is until you can actually see one it's hard to decide what modifications can be made. I found a good one but wrong scale, too big, and also one already seated. So not found any thing as yet.

Hi Glyn44.
I have been teaching a young lad how to make figures for boats, he's a very good modeller and doing well. He has a few seated figures available at 1/35th and 1/24th that will not break the bank. PM me and I will send you his details. I'm sure he would even make you what you want to order.
Cheers...Ron Rees.
