deans marine hms guernsey
« on: August 13, 2017, 07:39:58 pm »

I've just bought a deans marine hms guernsey second hand

I want some advice on the motor and motor mount and UJ As I am not happy with the arrangement the first owner fitted.

The motor is a bit under powered and a bit loose in the mount so want to replace the lot .

I have included a photo of the inside of the ship

Thanks

Olly

Deans recommend the Kondor motor http://deansmarine.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/cPath/5_13/products_id/203

I've installed a a MFA RE-360 which has a similar spec to the Kondor but the boat has yet to get wet. I've installed it using bath sealant so its should be easy to remove if required.

I use double ended UJs from Deans see below.
