an for the first time ever i maneged to get the whole ship in my camers veiw finder  :-))
an due to the sheer scale size of the ship here the seaking looks very tiny indeed an its a 1/72 scale seaking nr 11inches long so not that small but still tiny compared to the whole ship an its easy to see that they could get 4 seakings on her but as i keep forgetting her size till i fit her all togeather as 90% of the time she is stripped down  to her main components bits so i can work on building her in my model room  an in real she must have been a huge ship as she was a battle cruiser an helo carrier an i would love to have seen her in real  :-))  an will be glad when ive built an fitted on her both guns turrets as there is still so much to still be fitted on her as all that empty space on her front deck stands out so much to me

Well Chris, that was a good opportunity regarding your brother and the photos show very well the size of the ship. They also show how relatively small the heli is that you've been working on.
Did you manage to show your brother the heli with the rotors turning? Hope he was super impressed with your efforts.

Aye,
Ray.

HI Ray nice to see you  yes i got it all working for him an the helo an yes he was quite bowled over as he dint realize that it all worked an was amazed as he build r/c aircraft an flys them an sometimes crashes them so he knows the amount of work that has gone into tiger as he is constanly  repairing his planes but as he said they are no where near as complex as tiger but he like me enjoys the builds of them as one time he crashed his plane into a treetop an had to climb the tree  >>:-( <*< to get it back down an he's nr 80 yrs old i could not do that the old bones would crack up lol
ATB Ray  :-))

Chris
not sure why you have built it as a box, as it is not, it is a working area same as on a carrier (correct name eludes me) hope this helps

HI Bob plans im usein are arries formly jecobin  but now qauycraft but yes im happy that ive built that bit solid as if when she's sailing sooner or later the wind will blow tiger into the wall an as this is solid wood an a 2mm wire bumb bar fittied  it will save the ship an helicopter from damage as up both norwich an sherigham ponds the wind force can be quite strong so im gonna fit piano wire 2mm bumb bars around the ship in several places as when i was up at norwich on our last garla day sailing my hms norfolk them wire bumb bars did the job of savin the ships S/S an helo from hitting the concrete pond wall so this is all justified  an any more pics of what you are doin ? :-))
chris  ps hope judie is ok
