using one servo to drive two rudders
« on: October 15, 2007, 12:33:58 am »

Hello all.

Does anyone haver a simple way of driving two rudders from a single servo?

Situation I am in is that, if I mount the servo in the middle, it's leading to jamming, and I don't really have space to mount two.

Just wondering if anyone has come accross a similar situation, and if so, hopw they got around it?

Many thanks

Steve

This shows one servo for three rudders but can be adapted.   O0

this is how I do it , I try to keep all angles 90 deg and symmetrical , this gives equal rudder through and movement, there are plastic rudder arms available from the likes of deans marine that can be used.
