Sadly another fantastic lady has been taken from us to early. The model world now has lost two sterling people my thoughts are with Jerome and the  family.     R I P  Sue

This is so upsetting- another fantastic lady has been taken from us. My condolences to Jerome and his family. She will not be forgotten, I have many fond memories of Susan and Jerome at various shows including Warwick because their stand was directly opposite my club stand, it was always a joy talking to her.

I hope Susan Jackie Paul & Dave are having a get together upstairs with their favourite tipple looking down on us. Let's not forget.

Very sorry to hear this. Sue and Jerome were at all the shows with their stall full of goodies and I also bought from the mail order. They seem to have been around forever really.

Another sad loss.

Gulp. Sometimes opening threads on the forum leaves one feeling numb. I'm sure all our thoughts are with Jerome, the family and friends. Everyone on Mayhem and in the world of modelling will be saddened by this news. Everyone will agree it was a pleasure to have known Sue.With deepest sympathy.Steve Dean.

It was always a pleasure to work with Sue at shows for the last 20years. Her Smile was infectious so was her laugh and always smiled all day long She will be Missed big time not only By Jerome But her family and her adopted family us motly crew  O0 O0 O0

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Sue's funeral will take place on Friday 28th May.
While the lifting of Covid restrictions does allow us a greater number to attend, we are still limited.
Therefore if you would like to attend, please let Hannah Grainger know as soon as possible so that we can check we are not in breach of the regulations and I can send you details of the time and location.
Family flowers only, details for donations to follow.
If you are attending we ask that you wear bright and colourful clothing to reflect Sue's personality.

On behalf of all the members at Derby Model Boat Club I offer our sincerest condolences to Jerome and all the Grainger family. It was always a pleasure to chat to Sue and Jerome at the shows. She will be missed greatly.
