RAF crash tender - help!

Hi All,


A sort of n00b here. I had one of these when I was a kid and I have recently acquired this example from an RAF Air Cadets Sqn who wanted rid of it.


It has a brushed motor in there but no other electronics.


I am familiar with RC stuff as I do a lot of modern electric cars - I have a decent Futaba transmitter (4pm) and I know what receiver it needs to work in this boat.


Any advice on a brushless motor and ESC for this kind of RC boat, please?

Usually these boats have a 540 / speed600 motor in it, ( 1 or 2 motors? ) but they could be Brushless motors!
 To confirm, could you take a couple photos of the guts please?   :-)

But at a guess, a standard ESV 10 - 30 Amps are worth a look at:
