hi new member, always had an interest in radio controlled boats and cars, had my first boat at age of 6,  a Nikko speedy, I still have it in loft. my father had a few boats, Caldercraft Joffre and a hand built Malaysian patrol boat. I now have a young son who has shown an interest, I managed to get my hands on some old amusement park style RC boats made by tornado. I am just in the process of tidying it up and fitting some new motors and esc. hopefully will test it out in next couple of weeks.

Well found and well done on the restoration.  It looks bullet proof and sailable on any bit of water, duck pond canal etc.  I'm sure your son will love it.  Just the thing to encourage him into making his own model boat.
