Hi Martin. Kirklees Model Boat Club gala day Sunday 10 th July 2005. The event took place at Wilton Park Birstall nr Batley West Yorkshire. Clubs attended from various parts of the north of England,14 in total. Trade support was given by Newhay Models and Warner Marine. A large selection of models were on display for fellow modellers and the general public to check out. Watch Mayhem website show dates for 2006 event date. Doncaster Dome 23/24 July 2005 This year the Northern Model Show attracted 15 clubs and 5 individual entries. One club made the trip from Rotterdam to show their models. The show included sailing displays on the lake at the side of the Dome. Sailing displays included fast electric, submarines, many scale boats, and not forgetting the model yachts. Trade support was very good and the club members that attended from Kirklees had an excellent weekend. I must say a big thanks to all concerned at C/A/D/M/A for providing such a good show.
